While posting free courses from the likes of Udemy or Coursara is indeed a traffic driver to my sites, it’s time to exit that game. On my project management site, Project Management Five, I was posting courses almost daily. While it was nice to see my numbers jump with each of those posts, I can’t help but feel the traffic is ingenuine. Which it was.
This was not the audience I was needing. I need real project management types on my site. As both an informational hub on PM and the main home for my daily paid newsletter, the course offerings (not even my own) are a distraction from the mainstay of what I’m doing.
However, that doesn’t mean I don’t want you to find the courses. The main hub of the free course offerings come from a site called Course Unity,
I hope I’m not to be shunde for sharing, but that’s what it is. I’m not sure of their algorithm to find the free courses, but they do a pretty good job. And that’s my secret. Go get your course on!
